This beautiful black LED downlight is ideal for use in living rooms, kitchens and also in wet areas such as a bathroom or porch and has a high quality iron finish. This LED spot has a protection class of IP65 and is therefore suitable for installation in the bathroom or other wet areas. The Mari bathroom recessed spot replaces your current 50 watt halogen lamps, also the warm light color is taken over one on one from your traditional halogen lamps, so you get the beautiful atmosphere but with the latest and energy efficient LED technology. The beautiful beam of this spot ensures a smooth transition of the light so that when using multiple spots the light beams overlap and there are no dark spots.

Unique design

The Mari recessed spotlight fixture has a recessed fitting for a GU10 or MR16 spotlight making it a little hidden in the ceiling. Because of this you do not see the light source directly when looking at the fixture, this way you get a nice beam of light from the ceiling without being blinded by the light. The sleek finish and the use of high quality materials make this spot a real eye-catcher within every room! The black recessed spot has a cutoff size of 67mm minimum to 75mm maximum and an outside diameter of 85mm and can be installed in virtually any location thanks to its IP65 protection degree.

The fitting made of iron gives a beautiful stainless steel look including its advantages. Because the fitting is treated with a special coating, it is rust-free. So you can enjoy a beautiful, long-lasting spotlight for years to come.

Mounting

The Mari LED downlight is easy to install thanks to the plug & play system that is attached to the spot, this system consists of a GU10 fitting and a junction box. Connect the spot to the mains in no time and install the supplied GU10 light source in the GU10 fitting. This recessed spot is directly connected to the 230V mains so you do not need to hide a transformer. 

Mounting tip: Keep in mind when mounting the light that there must be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimeters behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.

Choose the right dimmer

The black Mari spot is dimmable, but to be able to dim the spot, you need the right LED dimmer. It is important to install a good LED dimmer that is compatible with the spots.
