Link the GU10 wall light to the free Hoftronic Smart app and you get access to dozens of smart functions. This way you get the most out of your smart lighting. A small selection of these smart functions are:

• Schedules: By creating schedules, you can have the Marion automatically turn on at set times. This way you can make sure the lights are on when you get home or use the smart wall light as a wake-up light.
• Geofencing: Have the wall light react to your location. Leaving the house? Your lights will automatically switch off. Coming home? Then you will be welcomed by your favourite light scene. (only available on IOS operating systems)
• Weather-based: Have the light colour change based on the weather. Is it cold and bleak outside? Then this wall light will bring some extra warmth into your home with a warm light colour.
• Intuitive colour wheel: The colours of the spotlights can be easily and quickly adjusted via the intuitive colour wheel. This allows you to choose from more than 16.5 million colours and, of course, all shades of white (2700K - 6500K) within a few seconds.
• Link to smart assistant: Via the Hoftronic Smart app you can easily link the smart lighting to your smart assistant. This allows you to control the WiFi wall light with your voice: "ok Google, turn on my outside lights". Supported smart assistants are: Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri.
• Setting up scenes: Through various preset scenes, you can easily adjust the colours of your lamps. Of course, you can also create your own scenes that suit you best.
• Grouping: By adding different lamps to groups, you can easily control multiple smart lamps at the same time. For example, you can have all the lights in the living room change colour, dim or switch them on and off at the same time.
• Location independent: Your phone does not need to be connected to the WiFI network to control the lamps. This way you can control your lamps from anywhere in the world.

Seamless connect, guaranteed connection

Seamless connect is the always successful connection of the Marion wall light to the 2.4 GhZ WiFi network. This is because the spotlight makes use of both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used by the spotlight to make a connection with the network. This works as follows: when the wall light is switched on, it searches for Bluetooth signals in the neighbourhood. Logically, it will then find your smartphone. Then the wall light connects to your smartphone and retrieves the network data from your smartphone. It sends these data to the spotlights, which then connect to the WiFi network. In this way, the connection is always guaranteed.

You do not need a bridge to connect the Marion wall light to the WiFi network. 

16.5 million colours

This smart Hoftronic Smart wall light has no less than 16.5 million colours and all white tones (2700K - 6500K). So there is always a light colour to suit your situation and mood. Turn the wall lamp on red for a romantic evening on the couch or turn it on blue when you need to concentrate. 

By saving your favourite scenes, you can magic up your favourite colour setting in your home with one press of your smartphone. It's that simple.
