Tiltable

The Rome recessed spot is tiltable, making it easy to use the LED spotlight to create lighting accents in your home. Think of highlighting a painting, a plant or a statue. In addition, the ceiling spotlights can also be used as main lighting and mood lighting.

Made of maintenance free aluminium

As the Rome recessed spot is made of maintenance free aluminium, dust and dirt have difficulty adhering to it. As a result, the recessed spot is less likely to get dirty and needs to be cleaned less often. The spot is finished with a moisture resistant black coating. This ensures that the spot retains its beautiful colour in the most humid conditions.

RGBWW

Because Rome's 3 smart recessed spotlights contain a 6 Watts RGBWW LED spotlight, you can choose from over 16.5 million different colours. You choose the colour through an intuitive colour wheel on your phone. Besides the large availability of colours, these spotlights also allow you to set different shades of white. Whether you want to create atmosphere with warm white light or concentrate with daylight white; it's all possible. Changing the atmosphere has never been so easy.

Narrow beam angle of 40 degrees

The narrow 40 degree beam angle makes it possible to place spotlights closer together, without the beams intersecting. This is useful for when you want to place several spotlights above the shower or when you want to place spotlights in a cove along the wall. When you place the spots in a cove, the small beam angle also ensures that most of the light shines on the ground instead of the wall.

Small mounting depth of 27 mm

The Rome has a very small mounting depth of only 27mm. This allows the recessed spotlight to easily fit into most suspended ceilings. The cut out diameter of the recessed spotlight is 75 -  87 mm. This means that the recessed spotlight fits into 75 -  87 mm holes. Rome owes its very small recessed depth to the integrated light source.

Long life span

• Scheduling: By creating schedules, you can make the LED ceiling spotlights turn on automatically at set times. This allows you to make sure the lights are on when you get home. Or use your spotlights as wake up lights
• Geofencing: Have the recessed spotlights respond based on your location. Do you leave the house? Then your lights switch off automatically. Come back home? Then you will be welcomed by your favourite light scene. This function also makes the smart recessed lights perfect for protecting your home against burglars (This function is only available on IOS operating systems)
• Biorhythm based adjustment: Colour temperature and brightness are automatically adjusted at different hours of the day according to your biological rhythm. During the day, they help inhibit melatonin release, making you more energetic. At night, they help increase melatonin release, helping you relax and fall asleep
• Weather based adjustment: Let the light colour change based on the weather. Is it cold and bleak outside? Then this recessed LED spotlight provides some extra warmth in your home with a warm light colour

Seamless connect, guaranteed connection

Seamless connect is always succeeding in connecting the smart downlight to the 2.4 GhZ WiFi network. This is because the Rome uses both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth uses the lamp to connect to the network. This works as follows: when the lamp turns on, it searches for Bluetooth signals nearby. This way, your lamp finds your smartphone. The Rome then connects to your smartphone and retrieves network data from your smartphone. It sends this to the lamp, which then connects to the WiFi network. This way, the connection is always guaranteed.

You do not need a bridge to connect the recessed spot to the WiFi network.

Installation tip: When installing, allow at least 10 to 15 centimetres of circulation space behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.

Please note: these spotlights are not suitable as floor or deck spotlights.
