With this beautiful set of Cadiz spotlights, illuminating your veranda, bathroom or living room is child's play. Link the Cadiz spotlights to your smartphone and the free Hoftronic Smart app and enjoy dozens of smart functions. The 12 volt recessed spotlights run on the Tuya protocol, which hundreds of smart brands worldwide work with. This allows you to use your favorite smart home app. A small selection of the smart functions are: 

• Link to smart assistant: Through the Hoftronic Smart app you can easily link the smart lights to your smart assistant. This allows you to control the lights with your voice: "Okay Google, turn on my spots" Supported assistants: Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri
• Set timers: Set timers so the spotlights automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed

Smart veranda recessed spotlights 2700K Warm white 

The spotlights shine a 2700K warm white light color. With this light color they illuminate every room warm and cozy. The light color is often used in spaces where you want to relax or want to create more atmosphere. Think of the veranda, porch, living room, bedroom or bathroom. 

Downlights especially designed for outdoors 

The IP44 protection class and manufacture from maintenance-free aluminum make the spotlights highly suitable for damp rooms. Defects caused by moisture or dust are excluded, as are rust and discoloration. This makes the smart Cadiz spotlights the perfect recessed spot for the porch, canopy or roof of the garden shed.  

Seamless connect 

Seamless connect is the always succeeding pairing of the smart driver with the 2.4 GhZ WiFi network. This is because the driver uses both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth uses the driver to connect to the network. 

This works as follows: When the driver turns on, it looks for Bluetooth signals nearby. Logically, it then finds your smartphone. Then the smart driver connects to your smartphone and retrieves the network data from your smartphone. It sends these to the driver and it then connects to the WiFi network. In this way, the connection is always guaranteed. 

Connecting the spots to the smart app 

Connecting the Cadiz spotlights is very easy. Just follow the steps below: 

• Download the free Hoftronic Smart app through the Google play store or App store on IOS. 
• Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone 
• Turn on the smart driver of the Cadiz spotlights 
• Open the Hoftronic Smart app and click on add product 
• Then tap autodetect in the upper right corner 
• Follow the steps in the app

With the Cadiz recessed spots you will receive an extensive manual for connecting the spots to the app.  

Easy plug & play installation 

This Cadiz LED set can be used both indoors and outdoors, for example for your veranda, pergola, patio roof or carport (not suitable as ground spots). The spots are easy to install by the clamps which are attached to the spot. The transformer is prepared on the 230V side with a 15 cm long cable with WAGO welding clamps for easy installation. So you only need to connect the 230V power cable to WAGO clamps on the driver cable. The spotlights have a 5 meter long cable with AMP connectors (look like small internet cable connections). You simply plug these into the smart driver without any tools.  

Important note for installation! 

The smart driver has an IP20 protection degree. Therefore you can not just place it in a damp room. Therefore, always place it in a dry place or in an IP65 waterproof junction box. Places where a junction box is recommended are: 

• Veranda 
• Carport 
• Outside 
• Bathroom  
• Garden house 
• Garage 
• Not / poorly insulated attic 
• Cellar
