Reduced build-in depth

When you combine the Vegas recessed spotlight with a GU10 light source, the average recessed depth is approximately 90 mm. You can easily reduce this recessed depth by using a LED module. With an LED module as a light source, the recessed depth is only 60 mm. This is ideal if you don't have much room but would still like to install this beautiful recessed spot somewhere! In short, the LED module makes it possible to place the Vegas recessed spotlight in even more locations within the house with a low recessed depth.

LED Module

The LED module that is supplied as standard is fitted with the latest LED chips, making it very energy-efficient, with an energy consumption of just 3.8W. Despite this low consumption, the module delivers a light output of 270 lumens, making it suitable for illuminating objects or lighting spaces. In addition, the LED module is dimmable, which means that the light intensity can be set exactly as you wish, although a suitable LED dimmer is still required. 

The lifespan of the LED light source module is 20,000 hours, which means that you will have years of pleasure from the LED light source module. The universal size of the module makes it easy to replace a regular GU10 light source, as it fits virtually every GU10 fixture on the market. The LED module is a light source with low recessed depth, which is ideal as a replacement for a traditional GU10 lamp. In most GU10 fittings for recessed lights there is also a GU10 holder in the fitting, in which you can easily place the LED module without tools. You slide the LED module into the holder and then connect the quick connector from the LED module to the mains.

When installing new spotlights in a ceiling, there is not always enough space left to place the light source. This LED module has a built-in depth of only 29mm! As a result, this module can be installed in practically any place. Think of lowered ceilings, bedrooms, living rooms or in the kitchen!

Made from maintenance-free aluminium

The fixture of this Vegas recessed spotlight is made of maintenance-free aluminium. The property of this material is that dirt and dust adhere poorly. This means that you need to clean the spotlight less often and you can enjoy the light for a long time. 

Dim to warm

With the unique dim to warm function, you have a range of 2200-2700K and create a pleasant atmosphere in the bathroom, kitchen or living room of your home but also in a professional environment such as the hospitality industry, practices or office buildings. This LED light source module also has an even warm white light that gives the room a nice, warm atmosphere. With the dim to warm recessed spotlight, you can dim the spotlight so that the light colour becomes extra warm. Take into account the use of a dimmer.

Small beam angle

The small beam angle of 50 degrees means you can place several Vegas recessed spotlights close together without the light beams crossing. This makes the recessed spotlights ideal for mounting in a cove or above a dining table. The narrow beam is also important for accent lighting, as the light from the recessed spotlight is then more concentrated. More light will fall on the object to be illuminated and less on the wall behind it.

Installation tip: Keep in mind when installing the lights that there should be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimetres behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
