The Casey can come in direct contact with rain, snow or sleet. Thanks to the maintenance-free aluminum the Casey does not rust. The matte black color is preserved for several seasons thanks to the AKZO Nobel powder coating. This coating is both moisture and UV resistant. This ensures that the color does not flake off when exposed to moisture for long periods of time and that it does not discolor when hanging in the bright sun for long periods of time.

The light source is also protected by the glass casing. The garden base is a whopping 100 cm high, 14.5 cm long and 14.5 cm wide. Combine this garden base with an atmospheric filament light source and enjoy a warm, classic yet modern atmosphere.

Dozens of smart functions

Pair the smart light bulbs with the free Hoftronic Smart app and you get access to dozens of smart functions. This way you get the most out of your smart lighting. A small selection of these smart functions are:

• Schedules: By creating schedules, you can have the LED light bulbs turn on automatically at set times. This allows you to make sure the lights are on when you get home, or use the filament lamps as a wake-up light. Also ideal for securing your home against burglars
• Geofencing: Let the smart lighting react based on your location. Are you leaving the house? Then your lights will automatically turn off. Are you coming home again? Then you'll be greeted by your favorite light scene (only available on IOS operating systems)
• Weather-based: Have the light color change based on the weather. Is it cold and inclement outside? Then this filament lamp garden base will provide some extra warmth in your home/garden with a warm light color
• Intuitive color wheel: The white tones of the lamp are easy and quick to adjust via the intuitive color wheel. This allows you to choose between all white tones (1800K - 6500K) within a few seconds
• Link to smart assistant: Via the Hoftronic Smart app you can easily link the smart lighting to your smart assistant. This allows you to control the light bulb with your voice: "okay Google, turn on my living room lights"
• Setting scenes: Through various preset scenes, you can easily adjust the white tones of your lamps. Of course, you can also create your own scenes that best suit you
• Grouping: By adding different lamps to groups, you can easily control multiple smart lamps at the same time. For example, you can have all the lights in the living room change whiteness, dim or turn on and off at the same time

Smart filament with Tuya protocol

The smart filament lamps work on the Tuya protocol. This is the most widely used protocol worldwide and is used by hundreds of smart brands. The big advantage of this is that you can control the lamps with your favorite smart app, you can choose from hundreds of smart apps or of course control the lamps with the free Hoftronic Smart app. 

These smart light bulbs therefore also work seamlessly with other smart lighting that use this protocol. So you have all your smart lighting together in one app.

Linking of the smart lighting

The smart light bulbs use both WiFi and Bluetooth to connect to the WiFi network in your home. We call this Seamless connect. This combination ensures that pairing the smart lights to your WiFi network always works. Pairing is often done within a few seconds. 

This works as follows: when you turn on the smart light, it sends out a bluetooth signal. This signal is picked up by your smartphone and then you see in the Hoftronic Smart app a pairing request appear. You then click on pairing and after this your network data will be sent to the smart bulb. It then makes a connection with your network by means of these data. Completely plug and play. 

Long life

These smart filament lamps have a lifespan of 50,000 hours. This is on average less than 20 years. With average use, we assume that you have the lamps 250 days per year for 10 hours per day. On the bulbs you will also receive a two-year warranty. Should something go wrong in these two years? Then Hoftronic Smart will provide an appropriate replacement.
