This white LED downlight is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. You can place this recessed spot in bathrooms, living rooms, kitchens and also in outdoor areas such as a roof or shed. The Sierra recessed spot has a high-quality aluminium finish. This recessed spot has an IP65 protection rating and is therefore suitable for installation in the bathroom or other damp spaces. The Sierra is often used as a recessed spot for bathrooms. The unique feature of this spotlight is its ultra-thin recessed height of 27 mm. This low height ensures that you can install the recessed spotlight in almost any application. In addition, the recessed spotlight is tiltable in combination with an IP65 rating, allowing you to use this spotlight throughout your home. The Sierra's elegant appearance makes it possible to use the same recessed spot in the whole house, bathroom and outdoor areas. 

Would you like a different light colour in these rooms? This is no problem at all for this spotlight. The transformer that is mounted on the spot has a switch that allows you to adjust the light colour. There are three different light colours to choose from:

• 2700K: extra warm white
• 4000K: neutral white
• 5000K: daylight white

The Sierra recessed spot replaces with a wattage of 5 Watt your current 50 Watt halogen lamps, the warm light colour is taken over one on one from your traditional halogen lamps. So you get the same beautiful atmosphere but with the latest and energy-efficient LED technology. The beautiful beam of this spot ensures a smooth transition of the light so that, when using multiple spots, the light beams overlap and there are no dark spots.

Installation

The Sierra recessed spotlight is easy to install thanks to its ultra-thin recessed depth of 27 mm and pre-mounted transformer, which with its dimensions fits easily through the hole in the spotlight. The transformer has been designed in such a way that it can be connected without the use of tools such as a screwdriver or any terminal blocks, so it is very simple. The transformer is also suitable for looping through spots so you only need to use 1 power wire and you can easily loop through from spot to spot. This technique is also known as loop-in-loop-out, because the transformer has double inputs that make looping through possible. When installing your recessed spots, make sure to place the transformer next to the spot on the ceiling so that the spot can dissipate its heat better.

Choose the right dimmer

Sierra's recessed lights are dimmable, but to be able to dim them, you need the right LED dimmer. It is important to install a good LED dimmer that is compatible with the spots. We have tested all our LED dimmers extensively. All dimmers in our range are suitable for this recessed LED spotlight, which allows you to perfectly dim the lighting with a unique result.
