With this RGB LED Strip light dimmer you can change the colour of the RGB lightsnake and dim it. This Lightsnake Dimmer Set consists of the dimmer and a compact remote control. Connecting this dimmer to the Light strip light is very easy because all connections are Plug & Play. The dimmer works on radio frequency, which results that the remote control has a range of up to 30 metres. In addition, with a few simple buttons on the controller, you can effortlessly dim the LED strip light from 100% to 10% light intensity, so that the desired brightness can be set at any time.

Product features

• Dimmable: The RGB dimmable driver has phase cut dimming technology, so it is possible to dim the driver with a phase cut (RC) LED Dimmer. Keep in mind that you can only dim and turn the strip on/off. With the standard supplied controller, you can switch the LED strip on/off and use all other functions.
• Multiple colour change: There are 16 pre-set colours on the remote control. You can set these at the push of a button.
• Four light effects: Flash, Strobe, Fade & Smooth. Each effect can be used for different moments, the Flash is good for a party and Smooth is fine if you want to create a quiet yet fun atmosphere.
• Renewed remote control with smart learning: The handy new feature ensures that your controller only works with the connected LED Strip(s).
• Smart memory: The RGB LED Strip has a smart memory in the driver. This means that the last setting is remembered when the LED Strip is switched off.
• IP65 Waterproof: You can place the waterproof driver indoors and outdoors.
• Expandable up to 100 metres: The opportunity to connect the LED strip to this driver is possible by using connectors. A total of 100 metres of LED Strip can be connected to the driver.
• Detection range up to 30 metres: The remote control operates at a maximum distance of 30 metres from the driver.

Dimmable via remote control

With the multifunctional remote control of the RGB dimmer set, you can easily operate the RGB LED strip. The remote control offers the option of multiple colour changes, switching on and off, setting four light effects and, of course, dimming. In this way, you can always operate the LED strip from the comfort of your couch. Even when the RGB strip is located in the back of the garden.

Multiple colour change

On the remote control you will find 16 pre-set colours, with which you can choose your favourite light colour at the push of a button. Of course, you can also set the LED strip to white with one push of the remote control.

Four light effects

This RGB LED Dimmer has four light effects that can be easily set via the remote control:

• Flash: The RGB strip changes its colour every +/- 0.5-1 second.
• Strobe: In the strobe mode, the RGB strip changes its light colour every 2 seconds.
• Fade: In the fade mode, the strip changes its light colour very smoothly.
• Smooth: The smooth setting makes the RGB strip very slowly and very smoothly change to different light colours.

Renewed remote control with smart learning function

With the handy new features, you can now connect the controller to one or more Flex60 strips. This ensures that the controller only works with the connected LED Strip(s). Follow the steps below to put the LED Strip in smart pairing mode with the controller.

• Step 1: Remove the power from the driver.
• Step 2: While there is no power on the driver, hold down the "on/off" button on the controller and proceed to the next step.
• Step 3: Turn the power back on to the driver while keeping the "on/off" button pressed on the controller.
• Step 4: When the driver has power, press and hold the "on/off" button for 2 seconds. After that you can release the button and you will see the light on the controller flicker, this means that smart pairing was successful.

Smart memory

The RGB LED Strip has a smart memory in the driver. This means that the last setting is remembered when the LED Strip is switched off. This means that you always have the last setting when you turn the strip on again.

IP65 Waterproof

This RGB dimmer can be used both indoors and outdoors. This is because of the high IP65 protection class of the dimmable driver. This value indicates that the RGB LED Dimmer is both waterproof and dustproof. The 6 indicates the dust-tightness, in this case this value means that the dimmer is completely dustproof. The 5 indicates the watertightness. At this value, the LED Dimmer can come into direct contact with water. However, you cannot use the dimmer under water, for this you need an IP68 value. Please note that the Plug & Play connection point of the dimmer with LED Strip is not waterproof, the connection must be sealed with waterproof glue.

Expandable up to 100 metres

The RGB Flex 60 series of HOFTRONIC is easy to connect by means of connectors. This allows you to connect up to 100 metres of LED Strip to this dimmer. If the total connected LED Strip is more than 100 meters, the light will not work.

Range up to 30 metres

With the included LED Strip controller, you can control the light chain up to 30 metres away from the LED Driver.
