This High Lumen LED T8 fluorescent tube is a highly efficient fluorescent tube with an impressive 160 lumens per watt. Compared to other fluorescent tubes, it has a very low power consumption of only 12.5 watts while delivering a light output of 2000 lumens. The tube emits a flicker-free neutral white light of 4000K, ideal for areas where you need adequate lighting, like office spaces or classrooms. Insulated driver

The G13 fitting is attached to an end cap which also houses the tube driver. This end cap is insulated from the illuminated part of the tube so that the heat generated by the driver does not affect the LED chips in the tube. In other words, the isolated design of the driver prevents the LED chips from being damaged or burned out by the heat generated by the driver.

Easy installation and 1:1 replacement

Thanks to the included dummy starter, you can connect this LED tube directly to a traditional T8 luminaire. There are several installation options. We have explained these in our blog: Replacing halogen with LED. N.B. If you connect the LED Tube to a Hoftronic luminaire, you no longer need a dummy starter.
