This High Lumen LED T8 fluorescent tube is a highly efficient fluorescent tube with an impressive 160 lumens per watt. Compared to other fluorescent tubes, it has a very low power consumption of only 15.5 watts while delivering a light output of 2480 lumens. The tube emits a flicker-free warm white light of 3000K, ideal for areas where you need adequate lighting but still want to maintain a warm atmosphere. Think corridors, shops, hospitality areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, bathrooms, or home offices. The flicker-free light means you won't suffer from headaches or fatigue.

Insulated driver

The G13 fitting is attached to an end cap which also houses the tube driver. This end cap is insulated from the illuminated part of the tube so that the heat generated by the driver does not affect the LED chips in the tube. In other words, the isolated design of the driver prevents the LED chips from being damaged or burned out by the heat generated by the driver.

Easy installation and 1:1 replacement

Thanks to the included dummy starter, you can connect this LED tube directly to a traditional T8 luminaire. There are several installation options. We have explained these in our blog: Replacing halogen with LED. N.B. If you connect the LED Tube to a Hoftronic luminaire, you no longer need a dummy starter.
