Tuya based WiFi LED dimmer

The WiFi chip used in this dimmer works on the Tuya protocol. Tuya is the largest WiFi platform worldwide, this means that almost all WiFi smart apps are compatible with the dimmer. Ideal if you already have other smart products installed in your home, this will most likely allow you to continue using the same smart app.

Works with phase on and phase off

For dimming LED lights, there are two types of dimming technology: phase on (R,L) and phase off (R,C). Many dimmers are only suitable for one of these two dimming techniques, however, this LED dimmer is suitable for both dimming techniques! This makes the dimmer universally applicable to all types of LED lamps. Adjusting the settings is very easy with the slider that is present on the dimmer itself. Do your LED lamps work on phase cut/RL/triac? Put the slider on 'Leading (R,L)'. Do your led lamps work on phase cutting/RC/tronic? Put the slider on 'Trailing (R,C)'. Don't know on which dimming technique your led lamps work? Then simply test this. The setting on which your led lamps dim best (stable) is the one you need.

Small build-in depth

The WiFi LED dimmer has a small built-in depth of only 23mm, this makes it possible to build in the dimmer in many ways. The dimmer is suitable for any normal flush-mounting and surface-mounting box with screw holes.

Push/rotary dimmer

Unique to this smart WiFi dimmer is the combination with a push / turn button. Where previously all smart dimmers worked with a pulse switch, this LED dimmer works with the familiar dial. By pressing you can switch the LED lamps on/off and by turning you can dim.

Large range

What makes this dimmer even more unique is the large range that can be dimmed. The dimmer allows you to dim phase cut LED lamps up to 250 watts and phase leading LED lamps up to 150 watts. In principle, the dimmer works from a power of 0 watts, this means that lamps with an extremely low load of, for example, 1 watt, can be dimmed perfectly.

Additional protection

The voltage-dependent resistor (VDR) protects the connected LED lamps as much as possible against fluctuations in the grid from the outside, so that most light fluctuations can be avoided. In addition, this WiFi dimmer has protection against overheating. Finally, the overload protection protects the dimmer against overloading. This means that if too much power is connected to the dimmer, the dimmer will automatically switch itself off and thus not malfunction.

Suitable for two-way switching with pulse switch or wireless wall switch

The WiFi rotary dimmer can be used in alternating/hotel switching with (at the other switching point) a normal wired impulse switch. So this is not an on/off switch and it does not need WiFi support.

Optimal dimmability & light stability

The adjustment of the WiFi LED dimmer ensures that the LED lamps that are connected can be dimmed stably. With the user-friendly MIN potentiometer you control the minimum light and the stability in the lowest light setting. How to set this is clearly explained in the included installation manual. It is very simple. In addition, the dimmer has an automatic MAX detection. With each new or modified installation, the dimmer automatically detects fluctuations in the maximum light level and automatically adjusts it, preventing flickering in the highest light setting.

Silent dimming
