The Locus is a professional black recessed downlight designed to provide anti-panic lighting in the event of a power failure. These recessed downlights, which can be mounted to either the ceiling or wall, are placed in areas adjacent to an escape route, so the escape route is easy to find. These recessed LED emergency downlights are suitable for shops, offices, warehouses, and workshops. The LED light source has a high light output of 300 lumens and a daylight white light colour of 6500K. This makes the emergency lighting highly visible. Despite this, the recessed downlight has a power consumption of only 2 watts.

The Locus is also available with an accessory for surface mounted installation (also sold separately). Are the cut-outs of previous spotlights larger than those of the Locus downlight? No problem with the special ∅ 170 mm cover ring, which neatly conceals the larger cut-outs. Please note: this cover ring is not included and must be ordered separately.

Interchangeable lenses
Locus is supplied with interchangeable lenses that allow you to choose the light output (number of lumens) and beam angle. If the recessed downlight is to be placed in a large room or area, use the standard lens, which provides 300 lumens. For placement in corridors, use the supplied narrow beam lens. This provides a light output of 250 lumens.

Test button
The Locus recessed downlight has a test button that allows you to manually check that the emergency lighting is automatically activated in the event of a power failure. Manual conduction of a monthly functional test and an annual three-hour duration test is required.

• Non-maintained:This recessed emergency downlight can only burn non-continuously (non-maintained). This means that the light only comes on when the power supply is interrupted.

• 4 year guarantee: This emergency light comes with a 4-year guarantee. In the unlikely event of a fault, it will be replaced free of charge. (The battery is guaranteed for 2 years).

Backup battery

If the power goes out and the lights stop working, you don't have to worry thanks to these emergency lights. The Locus is equipped with a reliable LiFePO4 3.2V 3300mAh backup battery that provides up to 3 hours of light. The battery is fully charged within 24 hours. The emergency light switches on automatically in the event of a power failure. In dangerous situations without power, the emergency light will continue to operate on the battery.

Long life

The high-quality LiFePO4 battery gives the Locus a long life and low maintenance. In addition, the lamp consumes only 2 watts, making it very energy efficient and therefore longer lasting.
