Combine with a phone or existing switch
This receiver can be used with a phone and in combination with an existing switch in the wall. By pairing the receiver with your phone, you can easily control a group of lights from any corner of the room. The dimmer also works with universal 8V or 230C AC and DC push switches. The included manual gives step-by-step instructions on how to connect it to an existing push switch.
Easy to install
To install the dimmer kit, simply place it between the light source and the mains socket. The N (neutral) wire goes into the dimmer on one side and comes out on the other, towards the light source. The same principle is used for the L (line) wire. This setup allows you to install this wireless receiver in minutes, without the help of an electrician.
Smart memory included
This wireless dimmer/receiver has a smart memory function. This means that the dimmer remembers the power level of your LED lights when you switch them off. When you turn the lights on again, the dimmer will ensure that your lamps and/or spotlights are just as bright (or dim) as before.
400 watt receiver
The dimmer has a wide input and output voltage range of 100-240V AC, so you can control many different lamps. The dimmer has one channel, so you can create 1 group with it. However, it is possible to create multiple groups of luminaires and control them with the same wall dimmer. You would then install a separate LED dimmer for each group. The dimmer has a maximum capacity of 400 watts, which is a lot of GU10 spots or LED lamps at once.
Works with Philips Hue Bridge, IKEA Tradfri and Homey.
With this dimmer you can make 'normal' dimmable lights smart by controlling them with the Homey Bridge or the Hue Bridge. Of course, it also works with other Zigbee smart hubs. With a Zigbee smart hub, you can control the dimmer from your smartphone. So you can set timers or create lighting scenes to suit your mood.
Control from your bed
Older houses often don't have a light switch next to the bed. No problem with this Zigbee 3.0 dimmer! As long as you have your phone handy, you can even turn off your lights from your bed. So you never have to get out of bed to find a light again.
Works with an ordinary switch
As well as smart control, you can use it with your existing switch. Only the dimmer will not work with an impulse switch. With a standard switch, you can switch them on and off, but not dim them.
If you already have smart bulbs such as Philips Hue bulbs, you can't connect this dimmer to them because the smart bulb already has a dimmer built in.
