Replaceable GU10 light sources

The Durham set is supplied as standard with high-quality GU10 light sources from HOFTRONIC. The light source in the recessed spotlight is interchangeable. The great advantage of this is that, in the event of a defect in the light source, you only have to replace the GU10 spotlight and not the entire recessed spotlight. It also allows you to adjust the light colour and brightness of the recessed spot yourself.

Tilting

The Durham recessed lights are tiltable, which means you can easily use the LED spot to add light accents in your home. Think of illuminating a painting, a plant or a statue. In addition, the ceiling spots can also be used as main lighting and mood lighting.

Made of aluminium

The fittings of the Durham LED downlights are made of aluminium. The property of this material is that dirt and dust adhere poorly to it. This means that you don't have to clean the spots as often and you can enjoy the colour of the fixture for a long time. The Durham is available in two colours: white and black.

2700K warm white light colour

The GU10 light sources in this recessed spot have a warm white light colour of 2700K. This light colour is perfect for atmospheric room lighting. Think of the living room, bedroom or other spaces where you want to create ambiance. The light colour, combined with the ability to tilt, is ideal for putting an object in the spotlight.

Small beam angle

The small beam angle of 38 degrees means you can place several Durham recessed lights close together without the beams crossing. This makes the recessed spotlights ideal for mounting in a cove or above a dining table. The narrow beam is also important for accent lighting, as the light from the recessed spotlight is then more concentrated. More light will fall on the object to be illuminated instead of being lost in the room.

Installation advice: Keep in mind when installing the lights that there should be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimetres behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
