Set of 3 dimmable LED downlights Rome stainless steel 6 Watt Tilting 2700K IP44

Thanks to its high water resistance and aluminium fixture, these 3 stainless steel recessed spots are ideal for atmospheric lighting of living rooms, kitchens and also damp rooms such as a bathroom or canopy. The Rome recessed spot is easy to install yourself and shines an atmospheric warm white light.

Made of maintenance free aluminium

As the Rome recessed spot is made of maintenance free aluminium, dust and dirt adhere poorly to it. As a result, the recessed spot is less likely to get dirty and needs to be cleaned less often. The spot is finished with a moisture resistant stainless steel coating. This ensures that the spot retains its beautiful colour in the most humid conditions.

IP44 

This stainless steel Rome recessed spot has an IP44 protection rating. The 4 indicates that the recessed spot is protected against splashing water. We also call this splash proof. The second 4 indicates the degree of dust tightness. In this case, it means that no dust can get into the recessed spotlight. With this IP44 protection, the operation of the recessed spotlight is guaranteed.

2700K Warm white light colour

The warm white light colour ensures that Rome attractively illuminates any room. Use this light colour in rooms where you want to relax, such as the living room, bedroom or hallway. Of course, you can also think of outdoor areas such as: the veranda, roof, carport or garden shed.

Narrow beam angle of 40 degrees

The narrow 40 degree beam angle makes it possible to place the spotlights closer together, without the beams intersecting. This is useful when you want to place several spotlights above the shower or when you want to place spotlights in a cove along the wall. When placed in a cove, the small beam angle also ensures that most of the light shines on the ground instead of the wall.

Tool free installation

Thanks to the quick connector connections in the driver, you can install it completely toolless. This means you don't need any tools such as a screwdriver or terminal blocks. All you have to do is plug the power wires into the driver and the recessed spotlight is connected. The driver is also already prepared for connecting the built in spotlights in series. For this, you will find an extra connector in the middle of the driver. 

The driver is only 19 mm high, so it easily fits through the hole you make in the ceiling for the downlight. 

Please note that the driver is IP20, which means it is not waterproof, so it should be mounted in a moisture free location.

Low recessed depth of 27 mm

The Rome has a very low recessed depth of only 27 mm. As a result, the recessed spot easily fits into most suspended ceilings. The cut out diameter of the recessed spotlight is 75 - 87 mm. This means that the recessed spotlight fits into 75 -  87 mm holes. Rome owes its very small recessed depth to its integrated light source.

Long life span

The Rome features the latest LED chip technology, which ensures that the recessed spot has a lifespan of no less than 40.000 hours. As a result, you get a 3 year warranty on the spotlight. Should the downlight malfunction in the meantime? Then we will provide a suitable solution.

6 Watts consumption and 500 Lumen 

The Rome recessed spot consumes only 6 Watts, producing 500 lumens of light. This high efficiency ensures that this recessed spot replaces a 50 Watts halogen bulb. This is a saving of more than 80 per cent. 

Dimmable

This set of 3 Rome recessed spots are dimmable via a LED dimmer. You can choose between wired and wireless dimmers. We recommend the following dimmers for the Rome recessed spot:

• LED Dimmer 0 - 150 Watt: This is a wired dimmer you can connect up to 25 Rome recessed spotlights to.
• Wireless LED dimmer set 100 Watt: this wireless LED dimmer allows you to connect up to 16 Rome recessed spots and dim them wirelessly at the same time.

Please note: these spots are not suitable as floor or deck spots.
