This filament light works right out of the box with the free Hoftronic Smart Smart home app. You screw the light into the socket and connect it to the app. This allows you to control your lighting with your smartphone or smart assistant, such as Siri, Google Home or Amazon Alexa, in no time at all. No complicated installation, but right out of the box you can control your smart lighting with your smartphone or voice. The smart lamp combines a vintage look with the latest technologies. The unique thing about the Hoftronic Smart filament lamp is that you can adjust the white tones between very warm white (1800K) and warm white (3000K).

The light bulb has a diameter of 64 mm. An impressive light bulb that can also be used in pendant lamps or string lights.

• Geofencing: Let the smart lighting react based on your location. Leaving the house? Then your lighting will turn off automatically. Coming home? Then you will be welcomed by your favourite lighting scene. (only available on IOS operating systems)
• Based on the weather: Let the light colour change based on the weather. Is it cold and bleak outside? Then this filament bulb will bring some extra warmth into your home/garden with its warm light colour.
• Intuitive colour wheel: The white tones of the bulb can be adjusted quickly and easily using the intuitive colour wheel. This allows you to choose between all white tones (1800K - 3000K) in a matter of seconds.

Smart filament with Tuya protocol

The smart filament lights work on the Tuya protocol. This is the most widely used protocol worldwide and is utilised by hundreds of smart brands. The big advantage of this is that you can control the lights with your favourite smart app, choose from hundreds of smart apps or, of course, control the lights with the free Hoftronic Smart app.

This means these smart light bulbs also work seamlessly with other smart lighting that uses this protocol. This way you can have all your smart lighting in one app.

Connecting smart lighting

The smart light bulbs use both WiFi and Bluetooth to connect to your home WiFi network. We call this Seamless connect. This combination ensures that the smart lighting can always be connected to your WiFi network. The connection is often made within a few seconds.

It works as follows: when you switch on the smart light bulb, it sends out a Bluetooth signal. This signal is picked up by your smartphone and a connection request appears in the Hoftronic Smart app. You then click on connect and your network data is sent to the smart light bulb. The light bulb then uses this data to connect to your network. It's completely plug and play.
