This surface-mounted ceiling spot Ray has a high-quality aluminium finish in the colour grey. This fixture is suitable for indoor use due to its IP20 value. You can easily mount this surface-mounted ceiling spotlight on a ceiling if recessed installation is not possible. You can place this fixture in a hall, toilet, living room or bedroom where there is no humidity. 

Installation of the Ray surface mounted ceiling lights

The Ray smart surface mounted ceiling light is a smart product from Hoftronic Smart. This means that the device can be operated with the Hoftronic Smart App. The app can easily be downloaded for free from the Google Play store if you have an Android smartphone, or from the Apple Store if you have an IOS smartphone. The Ray smart ceiling light is linked to the app via your WIFI network. Make sure you are within 2 meters of your router to be able to pair the smart device.

Once the smart ceiling lights are connected to your WIFI network, you can place them where you want. Please note that your smart lighting must always be connected to your WIFI network in order to function optimally. So take into account the WIFI strength at the places where you want to place the smart lighting.

Assembly

The Ray surface mounted ceiling spotlight is easy to install due to the common dimensions of Ø95x95x105mm. The ceiling mounted spotlight is designed in such a way that it can be connected without the use of a transformer, you need a screwdriver to attach this fixture to the ceiling and any corbels, very simple. 

Replaceable light source in fixture

The light source in the fixture is replaceable with a GU10 LED lamp. Included is a Hoftronic Smart smart LED spotlight of 5.5 Watt with a light output of 400 lumens.
